In the early days of the Moorish movement it is said that Prophet Noble Drew Ali, while wearing a flaming red fez, appeared on the streets of Newark, New Jersey; he showed the sleeping Moors that they had an ancient Canaanite and Moabite connection.

Sister A. Brown El of Temple 4 and 25 said that the Holy Prophet said, “Don’t throw away your Bibles, because I am going to use them to condemn the government.”

Why would the Prophet make that statement? With careful study, it will become clear that the Biblical text has been tampered with by some for their own gains and has been through many translations; however many truths, history and especially the Hebrew Laws will shine bright for the researcher. The Moors were the original Germans, as in the original inhabitants of that region of Europe known today as Germany. In Germany, the word Moor is spelled as Mohr or Mohren. There is a Biblical translation called the Martin Luther, Luther or Lutheran Bible translation. In that version of the Bible, in some parts the text, the words Black, African, Ethiopian, Cushite found in other Biblical translations are not used, the word Mohr and Mohren is used. Can you imagine if our people grew up reading a Biblical translation that had Moor in it spelled Mohr/Mohren?

“Martin Luther (10 November 1483 – 18 February 1546), was a German monk, former Catholic priest, professor of theology and seminal figure of a reform movement in sixteenth century Christianity, subsequently known as the Protestant Reformation. He strongly disputed the claim that freedom from God’s punishment for sin could be purchased with money. He confronted indulgence salesman Johann Tetzel with his Ninety-Five Theses in 1517. His refusal to retract all of his writings at the demand of Pope Leo X in 1520 and the Holy Roman Emperor Charles V at the Diet of Worms in 1521 resulted in his excommunication by the pope and condemnation as an outlaw by the Emperor. His translation of the Bible into the vernacular (instead of Latin) made it more accessible, which had a tremendous impact on the church and on German culture. It fostered the development of a standard version of the German language, added several principles to the art of translation, and influenced the writing of an English translation, the King James Bible.” (For more on Martin Luther – Martin Luther wikipedia page )
