1. Go to the link http://www.memory.loc.gov/ammem/amlaw/lawhome.html
2. On the right hand side of the woman in the picture, in the shaded area called “journals of Congress” click on the optioned called “Senate Journal”.
3. On the left hand side of after arriving at the new page click on the option that says “Browse”.
4. In the large shaded area that says “Jump To a Congress:” click on the link that says “38 1863-1865”.
5. In the area that is labeled “38th Congress–December 7, 1863 to March 3, 1865” click on the link that says “First Session: December 7, 1863 to July 4, 1864”.
6. On that new page next to the part that says “Unnumbered Page” click on the link that says “Page image”.
7. On that new page next to the button that says “Turn to image”, type in the number “311” then click the button that says “Turn to image”. 311 is for page 311.
8. And there you will have it, you will see the 13 Amendment with 20 sections on page 311 and 312. You can navigate through the pages by clicking on the options that says “PREV IMAGE | NEXT IMAGE”
